Set Your Clients Up for Compliance — Via Text
If your clients don’t check emails as often as texts (or at all), sending a text appointment confirmation is a great way to communicate in their preferred format that both parties can refer back to.
It ensures they see the most important details while reinforcing or summarizing the content of your email with a quick, easy-to-read snippet.
A well-crafted text sets clear expectations, highlights key appointment details like drop-off and pick-up times, and offers an easy way to reschedule — all without adding to your admin workload.
This approach helps prevent no-shows and delays, keeps your schedule running smoothly, and makes sure clients stay informed and ready for their dog’s spa day.
It also helps answer your cleints questions like “What kind of payments do you take again?” or Where are you located?” before these questions arise.
In my one-on-one spa setup, solid text confirmations are the key to staying on time and avoiding overlaps while providing a seamless, client-friendly experience.
What to include in a text confirmation?
I like to use icons to grab attention and separate topics. I prefer a tone that is kind, and compassionate that is customized to the client.
